We planned plenty of sandwich options for lunch, and the small refrigerator came in really handy, limiting how much ice we had to buy for our coolers.

You’ll have everything you need for a comfortable stay without breaking the bank. While there isn’t any breakfast offered at this hotel, there is morning coffee, tea, and hot chocolate offered in the lobby.

We found the mattresses to be fairly comfortable, especially compared to other hotels we’ve stayed at in this price range. You may want to consider bringing your own pillow, if you have room, though! They were pretty flat.

The Camptel also features The Gotham Fireside Grill, a full restaurant and bar, so you won’t have to go far for a delicious meal or refreshing drink if you don’t pack your own. And if you’re looking to relax, there are hot tubs and saunas where you can soak your cares away.

The location of the Camptel is hard to beat, too. It’s only 0.5 miles from the Hawk Falls parking lot, so you can head there early in the morning or late in the evening, avoiding some of the crazy crowds at the popular Hickory Run waterfall.
